It got so lonely waiting to be quilted. My friend, Jeri Lindstrom took it home with her. Within 24 hours Jeri had it quilted and even sewed the binding on. She is one of the most talented quilters and quilts from her heart. I burst into tears when I saw the finished quilt.
My neighbor, Bobbi, got tears in her eyes and told another neighbor, Jan, that it was the most beautiful quilt ever. Bobbi thinks that the most recent completed quilt is the most beautiful. No, Bobbi, you're not getting it. Well, we'll see what's written in the quilty will.
Don't you just fall in love with your finished quilts?
It is now hanging over the fireplace in the Garden Room.
Onto the next project; a 24, 12" block Asian sampler. The sashings are cut and half are sewn, then will sew the blocks into rows and then the borders. You'll probably hear the squeals of delight. The quilt will probably end up about 104" square. That's a big quilt and that, of course, will be a Jeri quilted quilt.
I just love the word quilt.
