What's Black and White and Red all over?

TULIPS, of course.

Yes, that is a black tulip. The red is solid but shows a little pink.  Beautiful but I didn't have anything to do with that. Just planted them years ago and the squirrel's do a good job rearranging them. In the meantime they rob the bird feeders.

The cataract surgery was successful yesterday and yes, my vision is better. 

Dare I look at the two quilts I've pieced the last few months? I believe I'll label them "with cataracts" and "after cataracts".
